What will be your mission?

The mission of Business Analyst is to analyze current business needs and find solution for them. That means to design new reports, propose and design whole processes, setup PowerBI, configure one of our many trading applications or just help traders with their day-to-day.

It is the person who makes sure the trading is always performing the best and provides direct support for traders and dispatchers. Business Analyst needs to learn quickly and have strong analytical skills, be communicative and creative. We value those traits greatly and offer you a job where you are in the middle of creative process and make a real impact on our business and your peer’s everyday work.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Direct support of all trading departments (Trading, Dispatching, Risk Management, etc.)
  • Design of trading processes and their implementation
  • Making trading run smoothly in terms of trading applications and tools
  • Development, maintenance and testing of analytical tools
  • Product management of functional parts of trading system
  • Operating, maintenance and design of the various key reports

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance or economics
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Prior commodities experience is considered as a big plus

Trading Analyst

What will be your mission?

You will be part of our key department – the front office team of traders and analysts. Our goal is to trade and make a profit for the company. Your mission will be to support the traders with your insight based on analysis and knowledge of the market. The energy sector is very specific and it takes time to understand it. We will support you on your way and help you to grow and be an integral part of our professional team.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Participate in the development and execution of trading strategies
  • Assist the team in developing and enhancing analytical processes
  • Identify short and longer-term opportunities based on micro and macro fundamentals
  • Participate in portfolio construction and risk-taking decisions
  • Use new and existing insights to support idea generation and commodity analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance or economics

Quantitative Risk Analyst (Energy Sector)

Job description

The Risk & Internal Control Department is responsible for independent oversight and monitoring of Company´s overall trading, funding, risk assessment and regulatory reporting, including adherence to relevant regulatory requirements. We are looking for a new colleague who has some experience with development of data models, who would like to turn their ideas into software tools used by other team members and by doing so complement our Risk & Internal Control team as Quantitative Risk Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate on development of our in-house risk measurement and monitoring models and tools
  • Monitor, maintain and optimize internal processes
  • Propose and implement new automation solutions
  • Create various data scrapers
  • Work with other team members on implementation of statistical models

Requirements

  • Degree in software development, economics, engineering or a numerical discipline
  • Demonstrable analytical and numerical skills
  • Good Python and SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of Apache Airflow and Docker images would be a plus.
  • English proficiency (we are an international team)
  • Previous experience in energy or risk is a plus

Senior Software Developer

What will be your mission?

As a Senior Software Developer, you will participate in application systems development and maintenance as well as system design and development to improve internal workflow and automation. Your responsibilities will include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing new software solutions that meet our business needs.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Analysis and development of commodity trading applications
  • Architecting new solutions and systems integration
  • Working with business analysts and end-users to ensure that new systems are being built to meet their requirements
  • Provide Level 2 technical support, investigate and resolve technical issues; deploy updates and fixes
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Develop scripts to automate workflow

What do we expect from an ideal candidate?

  • Experience in software development technologies - Python (other languages such as Java, HTML, C#/C++, or JavaScript are plus)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and PostgreSQL is advantageous
  • Experience with GIT
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux administration and networking is a plus
  • Passion for software development, eagerness to learn the latest technologies
